On 3 Performance 1999-2006 Silverado / Sierra 1500 Oversized Aluminum Radiator Upgrade

This is a brand new release that we have been testing with over the last 6 months in our shop twin turbo Sierra 1500.  Most of the radiator upgrades you can find online are the same size as stock, only made from aluminum and 1.0-1.25″ cores.  We wanted to increase coolant capacity and also run the thickest upgraded core possible to help keep your vehicle cool in any condition.  Our radiator has fabricated, lightly polished end tanks and we use a core that’s almost double the standard size used.  Our core measures in at 2.0″ which virtually doubles the radiator capacity.  We also have the trans cooler built into our radiator should you choose to run it through the radiator like the factory unit does.

This is a very straight forward upgrade and installs with the factory mounting positions.  When doing this upgrade, we do have a dual high capacity fan which we run on our truck and recommend.  We also have a plug and play harness so you can wire it directly into the truck ECU so it will control the fans.  That is the ultimate coolant package and allows for a professional install.

This is a 28” wide radiator and will work with the larger radiator, but you will have to use aftermarket fans.

Applications:

This unit is designed for the 1500 trucks, 1999 – 2006 Silverado and Sierra.  The 2500 trucks have a slightly wider radiator and this can be used in those applications however you will notice its 4″ narrower in width.  It’s still going to greatly increase the cooling capacity and be an upgrade over the factory unit.
